Formed in 2018, Antariksh Records is a Delhi based label focusing on the underground realms of electronic dance music in India. Since their inception, the label has been successfully dishing out quality releases from artists in the South Asian subcontinent. No genres barred is the label’s mantra and they have established their ethos by offering the masses quality underground sounds irrespective of the genre.
Sticking to the label’s values, Antariksh Records has stepped into the Drum & Bass world and they have done it in style. “The Gasherbrum Project” is a sample-based breaks and techno jazz initiative from New Delhi. The first instalment of the project featured two delicious groovy cuts; Align and Fursat, which revolves around the universe of breaks infused with thrilling vocal samples each setting a different mood.
For the project’s remix compilation, we are stoked to feature a rework of Align by Rohit Tandon aka Sepoys; an Indian talent based in Vancouver; who has employed his signature intricate touch to “Align”. Sepoys’ Drum & Bass reshape of the track is an immersive deep-stepper with snappy breakbeats and a scorching mid-bass. Loaded with sophisticated rhythms and intricate drum patterns, Align’s Drum & Bass reshape is Sepoys’ best work till date.
